Maren's Tip
Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!
Walkthrough
- Step 1: Enter Kasio Shrine in the Necluda region.
- This is a four-room gauntlet that tests Ultrahand, Ascend, and Recall in escalating combinations.
- Each room is self-contained with its own mechanic.
- Step 2 — Room 1: Two stone blocks sit beneath a low ceiling with a thin section directly above.
- Stack the blocks using Ultrahand — place the shorter block on the ground first, then the taller block on top.
- Climb onto the stack and activate Ascend to phase through the thin ceiling onto the upper walkway.
- Follow the walkway to the Room 2 entrance.
- Step 3 — Room 2: A mechanical arm sweeps back and forth across a gap.
- The upper ledge is too high to reach by jumping alone.
- Use Ultrahand to grab the loose platform block from the floor and suspend it in mid-air at the same height as the moving arm — position it so the arm sweeps beneath it.
- This creates a two-tier stepping system: jump onto the suspended block, then leap to the upper ledge when the arm passes underneath (confirming the height is correct).
- The chest in the wall alcove to your right contains a Royal Guard's Sword (32 attack power) — do not miss it.
- Step 4 — Room 3: A large stone slab descends slowly from the ceiling toward the floor.
- Waiting does nothing — it just crushes you.
- Activate Recall on the descending slab to reverse its movement.
- The slab rises back toward the ceiling.
- Quickly step onto the slab and ride it upward.
- At the apex, jump off onto the high ledge that leads to Room 4.
- Timing is critical — Recall lasts about 10 seconds before the slab resumes descending.
- Step 5 — Room 4: A large gear spins continuously, and its current orientation blocks the exit doorway with a solid spoke.
- Activate Recall on the gear to pause and reverse its rotation.
- While Recall is active, use Ultrahand to grab the gear and rotate it exactly 90 degrees so the open gap between spokes aligns with the exit door.
- Release both abilities — the gear holds its new position permanently once the spokes lock into the door frame grooves.
- Walk through the aligned gap to reach the altar.
- Abilities needed: Ultrahand (Rooms 1, 2, 4), Ascend (Room 1), Recall (Rooms 3, 4).
- Pro tip: In Room 4, if you rotate the gear in the wrong direction and jam it, activate Recall again to undo your Ultrahand rotation and try the opposite direction.
- The correct alignment has a visible click when the spokes seat into the wall grooves.
